Every file on Digital Stockist comes with one of three licenses, shown on its listing. A license lets you use a file; it does not transfer ownership. The creator keeps all rights not granted below.
Personal Use
- You can: use the file in personal, non-commercial projects, like invitations, home decor, gifts, school work, or personal social media.
- You can’t: use it for business, client work, or anything you sell.
Commercial Use
- You can: use the file in business and client projects, marketing, websites, social media for a business, and end products you sell, as long as the file is not the main thing being sold.
- You can’t: sell or give away the file itself, or products where the file is the main value (for example, a print that is just the design).
Extended License
- You can: do everything Commercial Use allows, plus use the file as a main part of products made for resale, such as printed merchandise, print-on-demand items, and physical goods.
- You can’t: resell, share, or distribute the original source file, as-is or modified, or include it in another digital template or asset pack.
Rules for every license
- No reselling, sharing, or redistributing the original files.
- No using files in trademarks or logos.
- No using files in anything illegal, hateful, or misleading.
- A license covers the person or business that bought it and is not transferable.
- Files downloaded with a plan keep the license shown on the listing, even after the plan ends.
